Religion in Art

During my stay in Belgium, I've been through several cathedrals, churches, iglesias, etc.
The sculptures and paintings in these places are fucking awesome.

One question though...
...did Jesus really have a six pack?

Ive also seen a lot of paintings by Flemish primitives and a lot of the scenes of religious significance always has some woman breast feeding a child. I really can't stand how the Flemish paint people.
